I can't help but think of all the wonderful parts of the season. Depending on which religion & beliefs you may have; I'm sure The Holidays mean something unique for all of us.
My family celebrates Christmas with decorating, trimming the tree (we get a live local one), baking, visiting friends & family, driving around looking at Xmas lights, crafts, a few parades & of course the turkey! Our kids are 3, 2 and 7 months. Absolutely everything magical about this time of year, was present in our home. We are blessed beyond belief to have been able to experience this joy within our home. My all time absolute favorite day of the year would have to be Christmas Day. I would say this as long as I have been able to walk, as a kid. I was so wound up & thrilled leading up to Christmas & all the way through. My parents were very patient people - apparently. I would say that now as an adult & a mother, my "new" favorite time is after our kids go to bed on Xmas eve. Not for the actual silence that we finally get, but for the fact that something very magical & special is about to go down. There are so many thoughts racing through my head of when I was a kid & the excitement ran high & I wished so hard that I could hear Rudolphs paw prints on the roof & Santas sleigh hit the shingles. I think I checked with my parents at least 36 times between 10pm and midnight. For a short time, the world seems silent & everyone is hopefully warm & wishing for peace & togetherness - really beautiful thoughts. On the business front, This was was the first year since 2009, when we opened, that we decided to take an actual holiday. Our staff and ourselves are taking a mandatory 10 days off, and we couldn't be happier! We work very hard to prepare your homes for the holidays & every sort of occasional, and anything in between... all year long! We love it & are honored to clean your homes & offices; but everyone deserves a break. To be able to rest properly, have a PJ day, quality time with our kids & spouses & extended families, maybe go somewhere out of cell range ;) We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us the time to take that rest we all require. Thank you for supporting us & our business. We would not be able to do it without all of you! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to each and every one of you!
